Know what a backtest does and does not show
Many Expert Advisors look excellent in a single backtest. MyFXCoding reads the full Strategy Tester report, including every trade, and checks whether the results hold up under closer scrutiny.
What we look at
How much of the profit comes from a few trades, how deep the drawdowns go, how often the EA loses, and whether the lot size grows after losses. Each report is scored for performance and risk, and the scores are public for every Expert Advisor we analyse.
How you use the site
Scores are free for everyone. Create a free account to read the written summary. A full report, with the verdict, metrics, charts and trade list, is open to members with a membership of 30 days. It stays open to you. There is also a free sample report, so you can judge the depth of the analysis before you buy anything.
How the numbers are produced
Every score is calculated from the report with fixed rules, and the rules are public. The written summary is produced from the same figures, and any figure it quotes must appear in the report. Read the methodology for the details.
What this is not
MyFXCoding is informational only and is not investment advice. A backtest describes the past under fixed settings. Live results depend on spreads, slippage, broker and server changes, and market conditions. A high score does not promise profit, and a low score does not rule out a good result.
